Daniel Runyon
During my 24 years of service. I was both enlisted and a commissioned officer with numerous deployments worldwide. I was Airborne, Ranger and Green Beret for most of my career. During my deployments, I planned, led, and conducted combat missions under some of the most austere conditions. Some of my experiences have been published in Linda Robinson’s “Masters of Chaos: The Secret History of the Special Forces”, as well as John D. Gresham’s “Beyond Hell and Back: How America’s Special Operations Forces Became the World’s Greatest Fighting Unit”. After 24 years of service, I now run my own business, coaching people to achieve great things. I split my time between the beach and the mountains with my adult kids and my significant other.

A raw, unfiltered military novel following the evolution of a Special Forces soldier forged by combat, loyalty, and moral ambiguity. Disciple of Chaos explores the psychological cost of modern warfare, the bonds formed in elite units, and the line between duty and identity when the mission never truly ends.
Ashes of Vengeance
A darker continuation of the story, Ashes of Vengeance confronts the aftermath of violence—when the war follows you home. As past choices resurface, the novel examines grief, accountability, and the quiet reckoning that comes when vengeance offers no relief, only truth.
